Overall it was very meh, but I feel like it would have been fine had they taken out the cult and used some more practical effects.

Some of the camera shots bothered me with the useless CGI in parts.

Ex: the graveyard scene in the beginning and the overhead shot felt so weird. It felt like they used CGI for the headstones which was odd

I also went to see the Silent Hill movie based on Silent Hill 2 last month. I want to know, why was a cult needlessly added?

Also at one point I felt like the director was insulting the viewers intelligence with the too in the nose psychological “gotcha” moments.

Finally watched Scream and Scream 2 for the first time.

I’m enjoying the practical effects and the story so far in how they’re able to keep it interconnected.

I’m so close to the end of Kevin Can F**k Himself and I just love how we see Patty and Alison’s relationship grow.

The stark realization of many characters as they finally realize Kevin’s narcissism is… depressing to put it mildly. Art imitated reality a little too well.

Hoping for the Grim Reaper, but Article II section 4 might be the way out.
