I did that, then I just started buying the expensive stuff. M&S gf oaty bread is good because it tastes of oats. The warburtons tiger loaf is ok. Someone makes a passable loaf that claims to be a sourdough (probs M&S again). Schar ciabatta rolls keep forever and make a decent bacon sandwich.

That’s what we had over the weekend and yesterday. Today’s been a lot cloudier but the boy and I sat out in the garden at lunch, eating our fishfinger sandwiches.
I am enjoying this stage of schooling, when he comes home in time for us to have a non-vegetarian lunch together!
I think it’s just unhappy. In a little patch at the base of an East facing wall, doesn’t get enough water or manure 😢
