CW over time does this to me too. Especially when we had forced air heat and everything ticked when the blower ran. But I have visual snow too so when it’s dark I always see the waterfall!

What a fun episode. I always tell folks CW is about as close to mind to mind we get. It’s funny the idea of digital encoding was too novel to get into but they were using teletype. Think they transmitted the data back after crypto worked on it for the psychic reply tape?

I think Issac Asimov had something to say about American anti intellectualism. I recalled saying to my dad N2NRA “remember when we had lots of sci-fi on broadcast TV, what happened to that?”

Yeah AMP-V25D #BTECH I’ve had poor success with TYT also. Baofeng and Quansheng have preformed well, AnyTone has preformed very well. Radioddity I’m still so-so on. Rare to get fully DOA though with exception of TYT gear. Very poorly packaged too.

Got a BTECH linear amp today and defective right out of the box. #hamradio
