We’re on a reading week ,so I’ve taken advantage and I’m on a bit of a tour on the war graves,always been aninterest to me. I’ve relatives at the Somme and I took mum there before she’d passed . So tragic

I’m trying to plan a transition from the uni teaching to something else, I’ve taught a long time , I think teaching in different areas and overseas helped keep my enthusiastic, but I’d like to do something else and it’s really the first I’m I’m in a position to plan for that.😊

I know that’s a hard industry to get a break in , ( I know you can’t comment) but there are a lot of very lucky guys with long term posts that I find terrible,
One of my fav at the min is Nicola walker, think she’s fab!

Great summer, been to La Rochelle , Tours and Nantes, my French was better at the end of my trip and it used to be good as I spent a fair bit of time in France. Your material looks great , that material is made for you and I always said that!

South of France is likely possibility, it would be a cooler area re the dogs if I manage to get a house to buy in the future ( I’ll have a look), and there’s some amazing areas to view, castles last time were incredibly interesting.

Wao - go you! That’s a super summer for you, hope the wee fella has his exams over and done now ( altho I’m sure he’s not small anymore), I was down at the hurling semi -final at Croke park , didn’t get back to quite late, super day out.
College holidays now so thinking about summer travel now 😊.
