From what I've seen of Yu Yu Hakusho, I've really liked it. I need to return to it.
As for HxH, I wasn't a big fan; I enjoyed the first arc, but when the second one came and introduced the power system, I lost interest right away because I found it unnecessarily overcomplicated.

For some additional context, Lost Canvas is actually really good (at least the OVA adaptation covering the first 90 of 223 chapters), but to single out and downplay Masami Kurumada to praise that work strikes me as abhorrent.

I haven't heard anything this stupid about Shonen discourse since a certain Spanish-speaking reviewer said that the author of Saint Seiya has made pure trash on the last few decades and that Lost Canvas, the non-canon prequel written by another author is the best thing on the franchise.
I haven't seen his Dune movies. But from what I've heard, Chapter 1 being called boring is a common criticism and seems to be is a good reason why Chapter 2 is generally the most widely available for streaming and why is most talked online over its predeccessor.
I've seen those movies except Sicario; I enjoyed 2049, but I don't think it's as good as some people like to make it out to be.
Prisoners on the other hand, I quite enjoy it.
