The calves then faced a gruelling sea journey, lasting 18 hours+, to France without any food.

New York City's Foie Gras Ban is Staying Put.

In 2019, the New York City Council introduced a law to ban the sale of foie gras by 2022, but foie gras producers launched legal challenges that had delayed the ban.
After a recent ruling from the state's court of appeals, the ban is now in force!
