A painting can be a vortex. A triad of points, bouncing your eyes from one place to the next in a swirling composition. If you want to know why high renaissance paintings have such dramatic power, it’s because they know how to draw you in and keep you lost.

I feel bad though like if you’re selling your grandparents heirlooms and stuff :( at least know I’ll enjoy and take care of them.

The terrible economy is causing people to sell beautiful antiques on marketplace soooo cheap, like I might finally get the haunted library of my dreams.
