Another update: Made it to six weeks post-op and immediately got sick. Feeling a lot better today and still getting used to how things feel. I am still very scabby and my steri strips haven’t fallen off, but I am happy with the results so far.

In case anyone is wondering how top surgery recovery is going, I am renting a wheelchair to be able to go to class this week because my posture is so fucked I can’t walk for long distances. Totally worth it so far, though!

Please remember to go into your YouTube settings and disable automatic dubbing! I use captions for accessibility plus no one asked for this. There was backlash then and now because it’s a garbage genAI feature that replicates your voice in other languages. Tutorial below ⬇️

- T levels are stable
- Getting top surgery on Wednesday (tomorrow is my last day with boobs)
- Apparently, I am horribly deficient in Vitamin D and B12, so hopefully I will be less tired as those improve

I'm sorry to hear that. My best piece of advice would be to try and get yourself out there without expecting to find a relationship. Maybe joining groups around your hobbies (either in-person or virtual) will allow you to meet some new people.

Definitely take some time to process this, though. 🫂

Update: Got my test results back; my T levels did drop quite a bit. Looking to get off of it. My arm is feeling normal again. I also ended up reporting my doctor after I reviewed the visit notes he left for that appointment and got referred to a top surgeon. Emotions are very mixed rn.

My queue is CLEAR!!! Come get a cheap and fancy commission of ur babe!!! Top surgery is in less than a MONTH so I'm saving up for supplies (recovery aids and big food run)

Another update: Finally managed to get ahold of my (incompetent) doctor to order blood work. My energy is slowly coming back to me, but I am interested to see what my levels are since I didn’t change my dose. Also, the guy who drew my blood poked a nerve, so no art or anything for me tonight. 🙃

Thank you. Trying to take it one step at a time and have several appointments booked for next week to hopefully figure out what is going on.

Update: I am struggling to find the energy to do anything. I’m experiencing what I believe to be a hormone crash and burnout at the same time with heart palpitations, dizziness, and the worst fatigue I have ever felt in my life.

I need to ease my way back into making content and art.

Yeah, normally I wouldn’t blame it on hormones either, but it only changed after I started T, so I figured they’re probably related, at least in my case. Journaling sounds like a really good idea!

Oh god, I dealt with this so much before I started T. I don’t post 18+ stuff, but there was a while when I considered it about once a month and I think it was because of hormone fluctuations. I was so conflicted about whether I was really pan or if I was ace, but the two aren’t mutually exclusive.

I'll be going back through the story again to briefly reword some things and polish it up, and then I will post it when I get my website back up and running. I can't wait to share more about it as I get closer to posting it. (2/2)

So, I submitted a short story for a literary award last month and found out today that I didn't place. I am disappointed, but I noticed that the stories that won were all contemporary, not fantasy. But since I didn't win, that means I get to share this story with you guys! (1/2)
