Enjoyed my first game of 2nd Edition Burrows & Badgers today against @derinselaffe.bsky.social. Some subtle changes to the system, very much improved. I’m eager to see how our Warbands develop over the next few. I’ll put up a proper shot of my Warband during the week. #nerdlings #wargaming

Just got mine, they’re great

Got some Renedra tents done for Burrows and Badgers, there’s a few scenarios that they would work well for. Added a few little details to a pair of them just to add a little life to the camp. #nerdlings #wargaming

Sticks and stones… I collected some a few weeks ago and now that the twigs are dry I’ve put them together to make some ramshackle barricades for Burrows and Badgers. These were easy enough to build, maybe I do some more? #nerdlings #wargaming #miniatureterrain

I need to make some objective markers for Burrows & Badgers, here’s the first two of three. Kept ‘em simple using oversized grain sacks from Barons War. They are scaled poorly but suit the larger animals in the game perfectly. Now what to do for the third one? #nerdlings #wargaming

I just couldn’t wipe squads out and while I whittled them down they managed to escape. That puts @derinselaffe.bsky.social into the driving seat in the next stage of our campaign. I’d like to play convoy escort but not sure if I’ve enough vehicles for it.

Playing #XenosRampant again in the club, trying a fighting retreat against @derinselaffe.bsky.social . Primitives holding the line as the rest attempt an escape. So far it’s looking tough as ranges are short and catching up to the fleeing defenders isn’t easy. #nerdlings #wargaming

I’ve seen @battlebrushstudios.bsky.social’s dark age stuff, it’s on every image search I do! I think I’m happy with the scouring pad thatch so far. If I do a larger building I wonder how it’ll look.

I think a wooden church would work, I found a plan online that might suit.

At the back there’s a larger (longer) house and on the right there’s a granary. I’ll definitely have to add some animal pens. A small stream might also be required.

I’ll likely add a blacksmith and a kiln still. I’m sure a tavern/inn would have been present but I’m worried about verging into town territory! I’ve only so much storage space.
