blood rituals (a tool) now require inputs that must be discovered
they work either instantly or when a valid target steps on them.
They can be used for anything the system allows for, which so far is blowing up enemies and unlocking doors ✨

The save point (wip block) needs blood to save the game. Health can be restored with fruit but it takes time to regrow
But you can use the watch to skip some time periodically, if enemies aren't nearby ofc

Time advances only if the player enters a novel room, defined currently as not being in the last few rooms, as to avoid cheesing. But I might tweak this

Thanks! The tough bit was having certain things despawn after a certain amount of time (defined by entering a room that hasn't been entered recently). Now the blood cleans itself up, eventually 🐱🤠✨
Project Otherworld
Added a sacrificial knife that makes blood, a resource necessary for (scientific) rituals.
Also added persistence between rooms. Like how the enemy stays dead and the blood stays on the floor.
This was only slightly annoying to make work :3
