I finished this amazing book yesterday! What a brilliant book. I’m looking forward to the sequel!

Lots of love and patience plus she was very young when we rescued her so easier to adapt. She very much picked us (she loved my daughter) and realised early on that there was always a warm radiator and a bowl full of food for her.

Second finish of the year was The Ballad of Peckham Rye by Muriel Spark. It’s been on my bookshelf for years so I was looking forward to reading it but sadly it was a bit of a flop. Very dated in its humour. Oh well, can’t love them all!
