Thank you! We definitely need something for future new house (we signed the compromis last night. Fingers crossed)
Thanks great (and instructive; the room a is quieter than I thought). Teddy has become a leggy boy hasn’t he.
Apols - * as permanently resident in France
As OH’s all social contributions will be paid in (both by his employer and himself out of his French payslip) he will continue to be entitled to French social security etc.
No such thing as “being paid in £” other than his take home pay in € fluctuating iaw exchange rate.
OH’s employer will need to appoint a payroll intermediary entity (some companies specialise in this ) and will need to pay French employer’s social contributions to the French state via this entity. OH not entitled to an S1 as not permanently resident in France.
Pas back market mais une officine locale respectable tenue par trois types qui m’ont vendus mon iPhone X il y a quelques années et qui ont assuré quelques activités d’après vente à la suite. Le principe marche. Il doit y avoir des équivalents de par chez toi.

The Sunday rush hour with our forever friends enjoying the freedom of the farm, living in harmony. Thanks for your kind words and support. We love you more
Chop.
But brutal wirh the cleaver but effective.
I’ve always used the first method. Tonight I’ll be trying the second one in order to plancha grill my bird.
Neither method gives you something that looks remotely like a toad/crapaud, mind.
Afternoon lesson learnt (in anticipation of tonight’s dinner): there are two ways of spatchcocking a chicken.
Either you cut through the rib cage and you open the bird unfolding it across its neck, so to speak.
Or you remove its spine and unfold it longitudinally along its breastbone.
Feels like it doesn’t it. Futból is life.
Sunday lunch illustration by Dubout from Marcel Pagnol’s la Gloire de mon Pere.
They were the literary filter of my childhood - my grandmother had given me a leather bound edition of the Gloire de mon Père trilogy illustrated by Dubout.
I longed so much to live in them (and truth be told bits of my childhood summers weren’t so different. Bit lucky).
Phew. The little bump looked suspiciously like kitten boy equipment.
As an aside we may soooon (fingers crossed*) be spamming with of our future villagey Neighbourghood. We drove around today at lunchtime - it was v cute with an oyster stall and obligatory rotisserie outside the cafe.
(*) purchase compromis signature tomorrow. Buyers deposited 5% in escrow 😮💨
Provençale vibes.
(I was born in Toulon; reminds me of Pagnol-like childhood holidays in the back country)
Super cute and encouraging.
But are you sure the kitten is female?
Fun fact. If you suffer from this pleasant side effect, it’s often not reversible when you come off it (so to speak).
No Anxiety or depression or a libido and a fulfilling sex Life. Who needs both right.
Mirage 2000 and canon too.
I don’t know where I got that notion. It’s obviously wrong.
Isn’t the e320 a Hitachi train set?
😅
Ah! Because we’re not watching them in The UK, we’re watching them in France!
Our canal+ subscription comes with (amongst others) HBO. It’s not super expensive given what’s in the bundle.
Le métro.
Thinking of chonk, you and yours. ❤️🩹
It’s terrific.
Fucking hell. The emergency delivery scene in the Pitt’s second season’s final episode. Incredible.
I cried at the release point.
