Did I measure anything? No. Did I cut the paper or linoleum precisely? Not at all. Does the pattern line up perfectly. Nah. Is it the best pattern design I’ve created yet? Most definitely.

I did this quick demo on creating a repeating pattern design for my intro to print class. It was so silly that I had to actually see it through to completion. I love my idiot children. #printmaking #linocut #cats

I’m using my small wood block demos (one laser engraved, one hand carved) to play around with this concept. I think I need to use transparent ink and perhaps thinner paper. Maybe less dense imagery for the prey animal. Either way, pretty happy with this first test! #sciart #printmaking
