I'm sure we all share the Daily Telegraph's disgust as Spain tries to employ some kind of 'hostile environment' policy.
Quote from 87yr old mum after trying a new café:
'They don't do proper food. They only do healthy food.'
I didn't even mention that 2 weeks ago my bed broke as I was trying to get out of it. Only minor bruising this time!
Balance is still unreliable after brain surgery. Fortunately I still have a large cardboard box of cakes and biscuits (left over from Christmas) next to my sofa. The cakes and biscuits did not survive 100kg of plummeting Scotsman at 5:30 this morning but specs and arm remain unbroken (unrebroken?).
A week before Christmas I went for a wee bit of brain surgery and also managed a spectacular fall resulting in a broken arm, stitches etc. Today is the first day I've felt actual RECOVERY.
So, onwards and upwards!!
no amount of state propaganda will ever convince me this man is my enemy

The wind is wafting the sound of Sting playing Pori Jazz Festival into my flat. I'd shut the bloody windows if we weren't in the middle of a heatwave.

Swings and roundabouts though as 4 potatoes were peeled with all fingers remaining intact.
Cheap in monthly deals. The thrilling tale of a butler bitten by a radioactive spider...it's been a while since I read it.
A bewildered Simon Callow approached on a London street by my celeb hunting mother.
Can't believe I haven't posted my 'Simon Callow v My Mum' photo on here yet.
