Excellent choice. This show felt like Bobby on top of his game in my view. Especially Lost Sailor > Saint of Circumstance.

Classic alien shoot 'em up. Difficulty level was high.
Spring is here, time to roll away the dew
Grateful for this community always
Touch of Grey
What's an album you haven't heard in a while that still sounds fresh?
A lot of talent in this band. Wish they'd tour a bit closer to my neck of the woods.

JGB always delivered the funky. Must have been that stellar line up.
Nice. Definitely check out early 80's ('80-'85) Dead. The new addition of Brent brought some raw energy to the mix. And they opened lot of shows with some smokin' versions of Feel Like a Stranger.
Black Sabbath's self-titled album. Creepy, but kind of badass.
Good luck! Looking forward to the Saratoga Springs show coming up 🐠
"Consequences" of strong cannabis include: no hangovers, getting a decent night's rest, a hearty appetite, and experiencing a strong sudden desire to listen to Dark Side of the Moon on vinyl.
Good morning, fellow heads. Have a cup of rock and rye.
Album description: "The first of the vault releases selected by and named in honor of tape archivist Dick Latvala. A two CD set from the December 19, 1973 show in Tampa."

Physical Graffiti! 😎 VIP Zeppelin album. Kid knows his vinyl.
Great Dead of the day for all you Brent fans out there.
Soundboard barn burner from this day in 1989. A day later (2/6/89) they released 'Dylan & The Dead.' It consists of seven live songs written/sung by Dylan, with the Dead providing accompaniment. Explains why Weir decided to cover Desolation Row at this show.

Gary Coleman cracked me up as a kid. This was a great sitcom.
Attended this show. Highly recommend checking these prawns out too if you're into trippy grooves.

Stellar live album... Without a Net is another tasty one with performances of the same era... circa '89-'90
They definitely had stoners in mind with this one
Ooh will definitely check out Blind Melon's version. Thanks for the rec!
How have I never heard this one before? Great tune. The Pusher is my favorite of theirs.
Oasis would be the exception to this. Lol.
Such a smokin' Sailor/Saint. Peak Bobby right here in my view.

Absolutely. '72 was when the band really started evolving and touring Europe like crazy. Big fan of Cow Palace '76 double album too... check out Wharf Rat from that one.
Listening to Dead shows all day today, as I'm sure many fellow heads will be doing the same. Surely looks like 🌧️.
Thank you for the years of magic, Bobby
One of the most intense performances of all time
This version of Cities is bananas. Particularly around the ten minute mark.

Loving that China>>Rider.
Smokin' Dead of the day. '77 shows are always top notch.
