I’ve been hesitant to share that Poe is getting up there in dog years. He’s mostly blind now and sleeps a lot. I’ve hinted at his aging, but it’s hard to face. Still, I don’t want to ignore it entirely, since the strip reflects my real life, and this is part of it.

I have contemplated this. There MAY already be a strip scripted. lol
I don't, no. But that wouldn't really solve the problem of my not wanting to choke on my hair in the night. lol
My arm is pretty much recovered now, but I STILL sit like that to work on the strip quite often. If I do a little too much work all in one sitting, it will act up a smidge, so the pillow fort remains. lol
Sometimes, I work my way through a LOT of potential expressions for one panel before leaning on the "right" one. You can see the ghosts of a few here in very light blue under the final roughs.
I've tried sleeping in bonnets and other things to try and fix this, but ultimately, they all either do the same thing or are too tight to be comfy. As such, my bed head continues to reign. Lol
That... Really hasn't helped us. Lol

Exactly. I need to be physically away from home with no means to create to even KINDA relax. Lol
Switching from output to input is usually a good way to recharge creative batteries... If one can fight off the anxiety of NOT PRODUCING long enough to do it. Lol
I'm thinking that since HE'S apparently considering bringing "Chapelle's Show" back, that he will need sponsors and a smidge less negative press. Who fucking knows. I know I can't be bothered to care about his bs.
For a while, I had considered trying to draw this IN the style of the Voltron cartoon, but since these guys are only occasionally recurring characters, I wanted to make sure they were recognizable. Well, at least to folks who read this comic regularly.
