I saw they rereleased those and was thinking about the video ye did years ago, and that there was a load in there that just couldn't be played in a modern machine.
Great that they are accessible again.

Not saying for a second that that's not what you experienced, but it definitely doesn't sound like the correct process, income from self employment is SUPPOSED to be averaged out over a year to give a fair weekly deduction.

You may feel powerless to respond to hate but you are not.

One small thing you can do, which will make a real difference, is donate to the Muslim Sisters of Γ‰ire.

I just did it, and it only takes a moment.

These incredible women show up day after day to feed unhoused people.

In a thoroughly stunning act of bullheaded shortsightedness and spite, @social-protection.bsky.social have today informed staff that their work from home allowance is being DECREASED. An incredible move given the ongoing climate and fuel crisis, shows utter distain for the wellbeing of staff.

The fact that its an opinion piece tells you all you need to know. If it was a fact, then he wouldn't need to be convincing people.

It also had a cool later history, with the last siege of the castle being in 1922 during the Irish civil war, when artillery shells were dropped on the castle.
From the 50s to the 70s the Great Hall was used as a cinema.

Interior of the banquet hall of Desmond Castle, built in the 14th century, on top of the walls of the castle, so it could be seen from outside, more effort was spent on decorating the windows facing out of the Castle than on those facing the courtyard.
The picture shows reproduction tables and benches, with a selection of medieval pottery spread across the tables. Large wrought iron chandeliers hang from the wooden roof beams.

A niche one: Desmond Castle in Newcastle West. Ireland, I used to work there as a guide, not the most impressive now, but it was built just to show off how rich the Fitzgeralds were, they had other castles for defence, this was for parties and had not one but two banqueting halls.

Step one should be: all civil and public servants who can work from home switch immediately to full remote working. It would slash our fuel consumption & pressure the private sector to do the same. They won't though, because senior civil servants and the government think their staff are lazy plebs.
