We're very sorry about the delay. We've been tracking down missing fics and getting a few pinches. To prevent anyone else from having to wait, we have opted to open the collection now.

Several fics have not been posted, but the recipients have been notified, and they will be posted shortly.

I think there may jave been some miscommunication. The 27th was initially the day gifter names would be revealed. However if anyone needs the extra day due to the miscommunication dm or send us an email and we can let your giftees know it's coming a little late <3

You may! Treats can actually be posted to the collection up to two weeks after the event!

As a large number of of you have had life issues and asked for extensions last night, the Twisted Soulmate Exchange reveal period will be extended 24 hours. Fic reveals will be 3/27 between 6 and 7pm EST and the giftee reveals will be moved to the 28th!

Also, A reminder that with so many different ships, only one of your requests may be in your assignment, so you may see ships listed that you don't like.
You are only obligated to write/draw for ships you are okay with.

Yes! All ships are welcome for the Soulmate Exchange! Triads and more are fine to request, there are plenty of soulmate aus that allow for more. Also, as in our event description Acespec/platonic soulmate stories are 100% allowed!

Of course! Once you're done with your exchange fic, you may either make gifts for specific people or "General Gifts" for the people who visit, which can be anything written under the exchange's theme.

The exchange sign-ups have been opened a day early due to inclement weather in my area tomorrow. I felt it was best to post a day early, than late. They will still run until March 2nd.

First of all, I'm sorry we missed your ask for so long!

Secondly, you do not have to provide social media. Sign-ups require only an AO3 account, and sharing on bsky after the fact is for fun, not mandatory as the event collections are linked.

A day early, but who knows when that special someone will show up?
