The yearly reminder that if I had been the girl in the poofy dress, that baby would be a happy little mischief causing goblin, and I'd still be twirling with Bowie.

Illustration on a Post-It Note, a scene from the film Raiders of the Lost Ark. A man stands on a cliff edge holding a bazooka and aiming it at some people below him. They are carrying a covered box like object.
"I'm gonna blow up the Ark, Rene.โ
Post-It Note art, ink, marker pens and acrylic gouache.
South Shiels looking magical this New Years Day. Happy New Year everyone.
I went for a sauna on the beach with the ladies this morning. The sand was crispy with frost and the sky astonishingly blue. What a treat!
Hahaha!! It is so catchy. I feel no guilt!!
Ugh the itch factor!!
He was right!!!! ๐
I also have a thing for Sandi. Twinkly innit. The hubby is besotted with Josie Lawrence. Funny 80s people were just the best!
Also I divvent want wool reet up me crack!
Oh I also had a Jeremy Hardy crush too, he was a twinkly man. Twinkly men are my kryptonite! Actually Barrie is pretty twinkly too to be honest. We have excellent taste!
Sounds very familiar with a cat instead of dogs!
The pole, I mean.. I don't really have words. Just that gif of the wolfs tongue unrolling!
Strange?? Hehehe! Thanks mate, I hope you are keeping well x
And beautifully so. I rewatch it fairly regularly, it's comfort telly for me in its extreme familiarity, if that makes sense, but yes, I didn't notice when I was younger either!
The 2nd series of Red Dwarf is my favourite, and this will never change. But series 5, Chris Barrie is off the charts hawt. Sigh.
Oh, I hope you all had a lovely Xmas n that!
As you were.
Supreme excitement here as my copy of Blazer has arrived and it's a thing of extreme beauty. Thank you to Steve MacManus and @the77publications.bsky.social for allowing me to be a part of it!
I absolutely loved it too. And it is so beautiful!

Absolutely lovely to see you too, let's get a longer chat next time!
I would mock them but once my cousin with a violent nut allergy rang his mam asking her, with thickening voice, if there were nuts in crunchy nut cornflakes. She had to scream at him to get his epipen. Some folks aren't....bright!
Babylon 5 rewatch number... let's not talk about that. Bloody Bruce Boxleitner has just sacrificed the beautiful Bryan Cranston. I remain in love with G'Kar.
My new podcast - Geordiobooks has its first episode live on podbean and now YouTube. Reading classic books, in the public domain, with my natural geordie accent. Starting with The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Chpt 1 is only 6ish minutes, give it a try!

I am enjoying knitting these sleeves so much. Words I never thought I would say/type! :D The pattern is the Nightly Sweater, and I highly recommend it.
Your Mabel jumper is lovely! I like the thicker stripes on the sleeves.
See your brain likes you!! ๐
Why are our brains so MEAN! (I have, in fact, met Jensen at a con. He was exactly as you would expect, I however, fell in love with Mark Sheppard that weekend. Sigh)
Last night in my dream, James Marsters, wearing a beautiful blue suit, approached me and smiled and said,'Hi, do you know Alexander?' And I said, 'I'm afraid not." And he smiled and walked away.
WHAT A BASTARD WASTE! I knew my brain hated me, but I had no idea the extent! FFS.
