Any time! Always happy to chat Magic! I’m mostly a standard / commander guy, but dabble in the modern RCQs for the season.

She’s a fast learner, and I have confidence she’ll pick everything up quickly and destroy me 🙃

Personally I like merfolk but it isn’t necessarily considered tier 1.

In terms of standard it’s always about the evolving metagame. The metagame is currently very diverse. And with Strixhaven coming out we’ll see in the coming weeks between the PT and RCs what impact is had.

Standard does shift because of an evolving metagame — but it does rotate yearly (and is cards from the last 3 years of Magic).

All depends how you’d want to play and the frequency.

Modern is also in a good position and is the current RCQ season, but obviously more expensive to get into

I played a 60 card limited deck. I had so many Prismari cards i was able to build constructed deck 😆😆😆.

My Prismari deck had 5 of these last night at pre release.

Girlfriend: So when are you going to teach me how to play Magic?

Me: *shows picture of all commander decks* — pick one of these with no context.

Girlfriend: I’ll take Prismari
