Opening session is making me unexpectedly emotional. This city and all who stood up for everyone who lives there reminds me that communities can stand up together. Our role is so important now, though terrifying.
Made it to Minneapolis. Grabbing some pub food and then need to figure out skyway from hotel! #PLA2026
Thank you!
I’m so honored! Still in shock…

Who else is going to #PLA2026 in Minneapolis? I’m officially booked!
Admitting during the first minute of your presentation that you tried to “use ChatGPT” but you “aren’t very good at it” does not foster my trust in what you are telling me.
Hearing ED talk about how to stay inspired and driven and why we strive for environmental sustainability for ourselves and future generations.

What would you rather watch: Serendipity or Sleepless in Seattle? I'm trying to decide my film for my December "Craft and a Rom Com."
My brain has returned to a side-quest that I started years ago.
Is this my brain telling me to finish it? Or has it just been a long day at work…
Thank you. 💜

Saw this when picking up a hold. Rest easy, Ozzy.
I finally started my slides and physical materials for my first-ever Memory Café in September.
I have dragged my feet for months now. This is more emotional than I expected (a close family member had dementia and I sometimes help the caregiver).
Hope I can do them proud.

I’m excited to share that I have been selected as chair of the Public Library Association Annual Conference 2026 Program Subcommittee! It is an honor to serve with my fellow PLA members, and I look forward to our work shaping the future of the association and public libraries everywhere.
Can anyone explain why technology that usually has zero issues suddenly all fail at the same time? It always happens RIGHT before a program too. I test a few hours ahead and then it still misbehaves!
Cooking through the Collection is back! Host Melissa is trying out Kathryn Hahn’s “Bunker Special” recipe, shared on the “Last Eats” episode on the Mythical Kitchen YouTube Channel.
Search for Cooking through the Collection on your favorite pod app or at youtu.be/oHxp0P6qBg4.

Can I still remember how to podcast on my own project and not for someone else? We will see.
You were at a vending machine and your dancing card looked quite full!
I was too nervous to say hello to @noethematt.bsky.social and @mychal3ts.bsky.social but I admire what both of you advocate for!!
Photo of a cannoli from Termini Brothers Bakery in Philadelphia
The best part of being in the city that I grew up in as a teen and graduate student is that I had access to Reading Terminal Market. My husband and I drive in around Christmas every year.
Still dreaming about this cannoli.
Had a very busy but rewarding time @ #ALAAC2025... a marathon of intense sessions that will help build stronger services for our ever changing communities. Apologies as I didn't see many people. @wilmingtonbanjo.bsky.social @sendaulas.bsky.social @petercoyl.bsky.social wish it was more than a wave!
