🧑🧑🧒🧒 Yale Humanities Lab released a new report in which researchers identified at least 210 facilities where Russia is forcibly taking Ukrainian children.
Russia calls it recreation and rehabilitation. In reality, it is a network of institutions where Russia is destroying the identity of our children

In Feb. 2022 I dropped everything & paused my normal work to help Ukraine. 3.5 years, 12 trips to 🇺🇦, & even one baby 🥰 later, that “pause” never ended. If you appreciate my work, you can buy me a coffee (or babysitter :) here:

“According to Nalyvaichenko, Beseda was planning Ukraine’s law enforcement's attacks on protestors” [during EuroMaidan in 2014]
your ego can cost you the life of your child. And the risk to infect others. I always thought only powerful people can influence large groups of individuals, their unchecked ego and ignorance can lead to tragedy, inflict suffering on millions. This shows that responsibility is on each one of us.
You sound like any other outlet out there now, not funny
how we can change our perceptions/mindset about institutions and policies. I bet there are people/academics/activists/ngo leaders who studied this, or have experience implementing new policies. I feel the need for preparation for meaningful change, but not disregarding of where we are now.
Ukrainians know that if they surrender they will be killed in Bucha-style massacre. Trump/musk are so delusional that they can have any deals with Russia, now Americans have their own country to save. But if Ukraine wins, we all will have a chance for a piece
🧵 Yesterday I shared my views on how disordered discourse has captured the US state and the risk of that happening elsewhere, but I don’t want to leave you hanging without proposing a solution.
I do agree that mask/trump truly believe in what they are doing. Their views are not challenged by their circle.

If Europe wants to be taken seriously, be serious:
1. Send a permanent team of military advisors & trainers to #Ukraine
2. Commit to sending peacekeeping troops in future
3. Seize the 200Bn€ of Russian assets in the EU to finance 🇺🇦 defense
4. Announce these steps now. #Paris

Use of actual nukes would be a signal event that would visit instant, perpetual defeat and dishonor upon muscovy, unlike slow-nuking towns with ICBMs and KABs which is perversely accepted as ho-hum normal and unworthy of retaliation.
That’s amazing, Jake. Thank you so much for the work you are doing!
The business model of art outsourcing: there’re 2-3 companies full of project managers between the AAA client and the artist, and artists get pennies, no ability to share their work in portfolio and feedback process is a broken phone record bc of the amount of middlemen (project managers, sales etc)
Russian state disinfo bots are active on BlueSky for over 2 weeks now.

When Ukraine economically and politically weak after “peace” it could be easy for russia to manipulate Ukrainian voters to get pro-russian president and parliament into power.
Also not available in Canada, unfortunately
Agree, quite some time ago. Sadly even after visiting Bucha personally, he featured just one or two people who were not appeasers, and in many shows emphasizing that Ukrainians are unjustifiably russophobic. Someone asked him how Russians, Jews and British perceived Germans during and after WWW2
I agree. A story from occupied village in Kherson region: when Russian soldiers just came, their first question was: Who is your tsar (king in russian) around here? Locals were puzzled bc they’d lived in democratic system. But that’s how it works in 🇷🇺: there’s always one top strongman rules the area
Check his old episode with Dan Carlin, he praises Putin as a strong man that is so needed to make order while sacrificing freedom. Just a hint - this idea of a strong man is a basis of russian society. Or any authoritarian regime.
Please stay strong Georgian people
What’s in the case?
Please consider using other services as alternative to Spotify as it sponsors Joe Rogan and strip musicians from a fair income.
Romanians and Georgians are too scared - they see that the west doesn’t help much Ukraine and they don’t want to be next. So they may just agree to putin’s conditions. Unfortunately.
