And likewise, those who have experienced intergenerational trauma, it isn't our fault, but it is our responsibility to heal from it and not perpetuate it. And it isn't the excuse for how we treat others or ourselves, even if it is "the source".

This comes up a lot in the work I do as a batterers intervention coordinator. I don't think all hurt people hurt people, but those who cause harm can't heal themselves or others until they acknowledge the harm they carry and the harm they cause. Someone has to break the cycle.

This album is so incredibly haunting and beautiful! I feel like it got overlooked a bit because Sunbather was such a force.

More of this energy in 2025. Cleveland Art Workers know what's up. Let's also work on some venue transparency with "fees". A presale ticket of $15 comes out to $30 and day of ends up being $25 plus an atm fee bc they didn't advertise cash only. Where is the incentive, where is the integrity?
