nothing particularly special, but everything works well together to achieve the best iteration time, and you never have to write boilerplate code (there’s an automatic export with an XM/MP3 player and a scene sequencer)!
It’s actually a generic tool:
- A render graph exposing resources and passes at an almost graphics API level
- A shader editor with some built-in variables
- A sync editor that looks like GNU Rocket
We released a new demo at Revision this weekend! I did the tool and some shaders, but the massive work was mainly done by Dubmood and Goto80. Check it out -> www.pouet.net/prod.php?whi... & www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Anb...
Live coding a text editor inside the text editor! Compiling C is so fast nowadays (:
Amazing! I’ve been looking through your tweets to get some hints about how your engine works. Thanks for this great explanation :)
I coded (!) a demo that we released at this years Revision. Art and music by Goto80 and engine code by Anat.
Great! How can you be that creative every day ? This is mindblowing :)
Of course! Looking forward to seeing what you do with it :)

New features: display grid, easily share your code, and more
Wow! I don't know what's better: the tool or what you do with it :)
Ah yes, it should be good now. Thanks !

Indeed! I refactored it to add the reverse projection and also noticed something strange with the distribution. Adding your change works well. I hope you're okay with this refactoring; I found it better educational purposes. 😊
Nice! I added it to the list :)
