The need to have a connection, to know he is not aching alone, bleeds through his voice. Do you feel lonely, too? “I… I don’t think much about that type of stuff, to be honest.” Jimin’s quiet hope falls to his stomach. “You don’t?” “No.” “At all? Don’t you… Don’t you wish for someone, sometimes?” Jeongguk shrugs and turns to look at Jimin, a whole constellation swirling there. “I have you.” The impact of Jeongguk’s words pushes against Jimin’s heartbeat at the perfect moment to make his heart halt for a second.
