Excited to highlight our latest preprint by graduate student Lauren Orr on the discovery of a covalent degradative handle that acts through two unique C173 and C178, on the E3 ligase DCAF16 that can be used to modularly design monovalent and bifunctional degraders.

Interested in small molecule mechanism? If you’re at #ACSSpring2025, stop by the Eli Lilly Symposium Wed 9am–12pm @ Room 31A in the convention center. Cool talks from @michael-erb.bsky.social, Yuh Min Chook & @xiaoyuzhang.bsky.social. I’ll discuss our program on chemical genomics. Come check it out!
Today in @nature.com we share our back-to-back stories with Ning Zheng’s lab revealing chemical-genetic convergence between a molecular glue degrader & E3 ligase cancer mutations. 1/5

🧪 Ready, set, degrade!
So proud to share our work in the @jclinical-invest.bsky.social, establishing a versatile approach for creating transgenic dTAG mice to degrade oncoproteins. We showcase that KRAS G12V degradation triggers antitumor immunity in lung cancer.
