I bike in Shoreline, Tukwila and Renton. The light rail helps cover long distances and then you can bike the last few miles.

If you’re so concerned about low-earners, why do you insist on denying them basic infrastructure and forcing them to spend a high percentage of their income on a car?

I live on a Healthy Street and all the arterial crossings have these. The buttons for the lights are very tricky to press from a bike and I can never tell if oncoming cars are actually going to stop or not. Definitely not ideal.
