I felt like I was living in the 60s when musicians and poets would go to underground spots to share their truth and protest songs. It helped me feel empowered and to know I'm not alone. 🫶🏽

Last night, I got to see friend @ernieluna.bsky.social and his band Los Alcos perform at Flamingo Cantina. After the week we've all had with the crazy going on in this country, their songs of celebration & protest gave life to my soul.
