Fred from Scooby-Doo unmasking the bad guy at the end of a mystery, in two frames.
First frame:
Left side: a tied up man in a white featureless mask with eye holes. The caption over him in impact font reads, "SOMETHING I USED TO LOVE SUCKS NOW"
Right side of frame, Fred has his hand on the mask, about to pull it off. The caption on him reads, "LET'S SEE WHO'S BEHIND THIS."
Second frame:
The unmasked bad guy has a pencil thin curling mustache, a pointy nose, and dark hair, with a widow's peak.
The caption on him reads, "PRIVATE EQUITY"

Just so you know a no would have nothing to do with you; Hasbro put the property on ice. (I’d heard more than one reason why but it didn’t sound like minds were gonna change).

Too many readers get testy about an interruptive story.
The business has warped in weird ways.

It turned out too well to stay hidden, which is par for Dan Schoening.

This week’s issue of TMNT: Saturday Morning Adventures was written two years ago as an inventory we simply never needed.

Gambling is how the Devil gets in, generally. Gambling with dead kids? These people are going to hell

“Crime Doctor Who” just got a painful snort. Allergies and humor are poor bedfellows, apparently.
But applause to the spot-on call.

Hey folks, after nearly 4 years at Mad Cave, I was let go this morning. It was a wonderful time getting to work with an amazing list of creators. If we have worked together, please stay in touch. I am available for freelance editing and would love to work with you all in the future.

Which is just about as notable. 😆

Well sure, if the blinking will set them off… there’s no way.
Prioritizing health though. I heard some stories yesterday that were hair whitening about folks who didn’t. 😬

I’d say vent away but since I know folks can hold a grudge over something as petty as how someone blinks that’d be awful advice. 🫤

An homage to the US one-sheet movie poster for ARMY OF DARKNESS with Betty front and center instead of Ash.
Hey, it's another new comic cover reveal! ARCHIE X ARMY OF DARKNESS #4! It's a retailer incentive cover, so if you want it, let your local shop know now.

I had a coworker whose boyfriend at the time was like this and said similar things, in public, to her.
Me and the rest of the store employees wanted to throw her a party when she dumped him.

You know who I had a bucket load of fun writing dialogue for?
Kaine Parker.
Yost was a prince for inviting me to play in that sandbox.

This happened years ago, but I was at a bookstore and two younger kids were drawn to the comics. They each grabbed one and their grandma shooed them away and said “those aren’t for kids.” Broke my heart a little, but glancing at what they grabbed, grandma wasn’t wrong either. 🫤
