We used this method in the remote and malaria-endemic Bijagos archipelago, Guinea-Bissau, to generate the first estimate of the proportion of bites taken on people when they are bed, required for transmission modelling to predict the impact of indoor vector control tools in this setting. 3/n

We propose a new methodology which aims to simplify biting behaviour surveillance, which may be particularly useful in remote and hard-to-reach locations. 2/n
