Watching old clips of Stephen Lewis really highlights how much discourse we’ve lost politically and societally. When movements involved sitting down and talking. The NDP made huge strides back then but with the passing of McDonough, Broadbent and Lewis…it feels like that era is ancient history.

What a loss to this country. Our thoughts go out to the Lewis family at this time.

This government is missing the mark again. This project needs to be publicly owned. The media is touting this as a Canadian-made project...except Telesat is owned by Loral Space (New York).

The sad thing is, Telesat was a crown corporation until...oh surprise, it was sold by the Chrétien Liberals.
