Strengthening things made by people and for the people is how we avoid another Twitter situation.

You can also still move your account to a different pds AFTER you're banned by bluesky, but you'll still be banned from appearing on their apps and website. So that's another reason to try to get people to move to different apps and pds hosts!

This way your account won't be held under bluesky's moderation, you won't have to worry about their inevitable enshittification, and you can feel comfortable knowing you're being hosted on servers owned by better people.

I do highly recommend moving your pds (the server your account is on, for example: bsky.social) once more open up that aren't owned by shitty people. Blacksky is currently the best one I think? I have my main account moved to their pds that's made for white folks (myatproto.social)
