This is what’s known as, “Chicagohenge”. Twice a year, the sun sets directly down the streets.

This was a pretty overcast day for Chicagohenge, and decided to play with colors a bit more, focusing on giving the photo more turquoise because of how the light was hitting at this time.

I was fortunate. Right place, right time. But totally agree, they’re a TON of fun to shoot.

It was also my first time seeing them live ;)
