Cursor - The AI Code Editor Built to make you extraordinarily productive, Cursor is the best way to code with AI.

Caught up a bit on the emails from newsletters I missed over the past two months yesterday ! Saw www.cursor.com mentioned a couple of times and decided to try it out - it's so good ! It feels like VSCode but somewhat a very different experience for writing code with AI, really cool

My wish for the new year, for all of us. A little more “we’re in this together”

Turning the dial away from self focus, and more towards helping and caring for others.

So few large companies realize how powerful it is to support people when they are dealing with tough stuff, and what it does to culture.

Note NVIDIA is one of the very few Big Techs that never did mass layoffs.

These things can add up.

Six decades later, Star Trek may still be the only franchise based on the ideas that diversity is strength, justice is the measure of civilization, bounty is to be shared, peace is worth the price, and all these things can be achieved.

We need more shows that look ahead and find goodness.

Being helpful and kind in tech is a "secret" that people often underestimate. It builds all kinds of bridges to others that will likely be helpful to you as well in the future; that's definitely a core value I share on my team too !

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1,000 a month. A year later, nearly half of participants said they had housing. Participants in Denver's basic-income program reported having more-secure housing, though results were similar in the trial and control groups.

Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.

My secret to building better communities is to… talking to the community. I know this feels silly to write out, but you’d be surprised how often we get lost in processes and platforms.

📢 1.90 is rolling out now (3/11)

Every post now has the ability to “detach” quote posts.

Quote posts are great but sometimes they’re used to dunk on people. This tool gives you a quick way to remove your post from the quote, reducing the unwanted attention that a quote might bring.
