After years of talking myself out of it I got some tiny Chinese teawares. It's so cozy and calming - easy to re-steep and drink tea all day.

Frieren angle post becoming a meme has provided a lot of great inspo for a difficult angle. ⋆˙⟡♡︎ \(^o^)\

I don't want to take a break from rigging my Live2D because I want it to be done, but taking a break for a trip let me have fresh eyes in a way that even a weekend doesn't. 🌄

I am scared of things I have probably done wrong and don't even know I will have to fix, but I am moving forward. 🌅

No Live2D updates because I went on my first vacation in like five years - to Toronto! 🍁

Met with friends and many nice people 👋, ate many good foods 🥟, went to the aquarium 🦈, museum ⚱️, many small cute shops 🔮, cheered for the Blue Jays ⚾🍻, survived being lost in union station 🚇.

I'm working on Live2D Head XY and just finishing up some details. I'm hoping to have it done and make a preview before I go on a small trip. ^^

Ok, I disappeared because I got called to jury duty. 🏛️✨

It was physically and mentally tiring and emotionally exhausting, but in the end restored a little of my faith in my local humanity. ❤️‍🩹

Still tweaking the eyes and brows but happy with mouth. 👄

Turned some settings down and it's been good, but feeling the pressure and wondering if I'll be able to hold out for AM6.

All elements have only been adjusted in a very "flat" way, so I will be giving the eyes more depth and fixing them glitching off the face in future iterations.

I appreciate that if I want to do commissions that budget will dictate level of detail.

but right now (for my own model, the start of my portfolio) I cannot help but operate under the principles of The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants and SHOW ME WHAT U GOT.

Also, for all my crying about being so slow for spending a month on eyes I guess I made about 72 main forms that are made from the layering of about 288 forms that break down to about 450 forms if you go by individual texture.

the variety of lil faces I can make with the VBridger mouth is really stunning. 👄💖 I've done all the shapes except Mouth X (and possibly some lil physics).

(I did VBriger with NVidia Beta, not iPhone, so no tongue out or cheek puff for now)

It took me 4 days to do the first 15 mouth forms.

2 days to do the next 15.

and 2 days to do the final 24.

... so I do seem to be getting faster. 🐇

Still need to finish the Shrug and Pucker forms (mostly done) and do Mouth X (not started).

VBridger Funnel mouth forms done pretty quickly!

Spent so much time experimenting with the default VBridger model that my face hurt. 😵

I will probably transfer the 1.5 Mouth Open shapes I made to be Press shapes instead since they represent pulling the lips back from a fully opened jaw position.

Yesterday I did the 2/3 bodyweight RDLs for 3 sets of 10 !! 🫠

Also took me an hour to figure out tariff rates that may or may not be applicable at any given point in the future. 😵‍💫
