With the arrival of harvest season, we thought it was the right time to look at examples of wheat weaving from our collections. Though these samples originate elsewhere, the practice has been active in Pennsylvania. Interest re-emerged in the mid-20th century, when some of these were created.
We are looking for a dynamic researcher and teacher with expertise in artificial intelligence, as well as areas such as strategic communications, advertising, audience analysis, data analytics, digital pedagogy, and/or media production.

Today was my first day teaching Folklore Studies and Folklore Theory in the 2025 International Summer School at Xi'an International Studies University. I have a wonderful group of students, who are doing a great job of wading through tough ideas in a non-native language!
