Great basho for Nabatame. He has conquered sandanme, and will now cast his mighty shadow over makushita. I predict that he will never lose again, ever, and eventually be crowned King of the Cosmos.
Aonishiki was bound to come back down to earth eventually, I suppose. He's still a baby, he'll have more chances. Maybe in the long run, this adversity will be good for his growth and maturation. In the meantime, it sure would be fun for Takayasu to sneak one in!

The crowd yesterday sounded more amped up than usual for the lower divisions. Made them even more fun
