So pure. One of the most nurturing things you can do with kids is encourage them to be creative and be there to engage with them over the results.
When professionals do it, it's death panels. When demonic speak-and- spell syphilitic raccoon wang enthusiasts do it, that's Making America Healthy Again.
Moon's haunted.
"Senator, have any of us ever truly won an election? What is an election anyway, in the context of human experience, in the sense of there being both winners and losers? As Derrida told us in his seminal wo
I didn't relish doing a monograph, so my thesis was a ~140 p portfolio with scaffolding document that analyzed the methodologies & subject choices for my six longest & most recent papers. What I learned is that I really love the intersection of foodways & history: what I would pursue in a doctorate.
For folks who can't form their own opinions, they give authority to reviewers they agree with. This makes them see reviewing as an authoritative rather than evaluative process. Reviews aren't binaries; they are subjective. You agree or you don't and people don't see that. They have to be "right"
I work at Kotaku now! :)
You can go watch back today's KFGD to hear me talk about it a little if you want. You could also read my alma mater @gibiz.bsky.social to learn more! www.gamesindustry.biz/kotaku-hires...
I can think of nine reasons that would be a bad idea.

KotOR is very much my " I should call her" game. No excuses not to replay; I could play it on a smart fridge at this point.
Grey Jedi or whatever Chirrut Îmwe is here.
Co-signed (though a practicing Presbyterian). It's creepy and sad and the people excited for these hollow shows of non-fairh are just as creepy and sad. And dangerous.
Lynne Thigpen as "The Chief" from Where In Time Is Carmen Sandiego
Lock the fuck in, Gumshoes. Carmen Sandiego stole a priceless wax pressing of "One of These Nights" by the Eagles. You've got to stop her before she travels back in time to 149 BC Carthage and trades it to Scipio Africanus the Younger for a kilo of the good shit.

Whaaat? They didn't offer me any of those (Lorehold)
I don’t want to sound humorless, but I find it concerning that the US intelligence community is being led by people who are inexperienced, part of a cult, psychologically unhinged, blackout drunk, high on various substances, or otherwise compromised on multiple levels.
It’s incredibly dangerous.
That's not what unc means: aftermath.site/unc-aave-afric...
I feel the one place where "larping" is appropriate as a pejorative is when white men dress up in army surplus gear and play act being in the military or when ICE or a local police department acts like Meal Team Six. They want the power they feel the trappings impart with none of the discipline.
I work at a university library with a larger number of student workers. Unc is a badge of honor for me. Yeah, I'm a dork who wears flannel in the winter and Hawaiian shirts in the summer, but when I'm talking gaming, the young folk listen. I was there when the deep magics were written.
You thinking of drinking it on stream? It's not ranch you know.

Okay so you might see this video with the audio muted. Now imagine how the music must sound like. I urge you to unmute and listen to what it's actually like because I guarantee you you're not prepared for it.
just the sweetest little pangolin you ever saw

It is giving the very worst of weeb energy.
30 years ago today, Principal Skinner purchased fast food to disguise as his own cooking at an unforgettable luncheon with Superintendent Chalmers.
#TheSimpsons episode “22 Short Films About Springfield” first aired April 14, 1996.
The most bad-ass rebuttal from Tite Kubo, the author of Bleach.
For folks who watch indie game industry news, Slay the Spire 2, in early access, outsold the *lifetime earnings* of Hades 2 AND Silksong in its first two weeks alone. Soft estimates suggest they are on track to make $250M over the next 12 months; a new record high for the Godot engine.
Some people saw a beautiful story of community, grief, and legacy all while pursuing space discovery. She said "but what about me?" As though she's been the main character all along. Why do they get to be astronauts? There are 8 billion of us (but really me) that want to be astronauts. It's not fair
