Update! I'm guessing I got at least 8 hours left on the body, then the sleeves I should be able to knock out over the course of two days. I'm almost there!

I'm going to the beach this February, so what better sweater to wear than the Halibut sweater? It fits so well already I can't wait till I finish it
Would you still love me if I was a werm๐ชฑ
me trying to figure out how to change the gauge of a knitting pattern cause I don't have the right size needle or yarn like
I'm not going to lie, mainly did fair isle because I didn't have enough yarn of one color to do it solid. Thank you for your praise! ๐ฅฐ
Finally finished my first knitted sweater! So happy with how it turned out. Going to block it next to get everything more uniform
Yoke is done! Trying to block it lightly for now since there's warping with the decreases so here's hoping that removes it or reduces it at least
Foxes done! The instructions said to embroider the eyes/nose, so the white is a little hard to see at the moment. Just did my last round of increases. Counting the stitches now to make sure I'm on track then it'll be the last round of colorwork โจ
Got the first round of leaves done! Now for the foxes. Heading to my local yarn store so I can knit with company rather than hunched over on my bed binging cooking shows lol
ok but a pattern I've seen being tested on tiktok FINALLY has a release date and I'm so excited. I bought their stego sweater on ravelry/etsy ($8) and I'm going to try to make that before buying this pattern. My fiancรฉ is a huge dino fan, so I'm going to try making both for her if I can
Update on the fox sweater, obviously the colorwork in the chart isn't matching the picture in the top section, but honestly I don't mind it. It looks like little upsidedown hearts, so I can't complain ๐ฅฐ
Ok so because I can't stop making projects for myself, I'm going to try to make a knitting journal! Endgame I want it full of patterns, swatches, yarn labels, and everything I'd need to remake a project. Currently working on the pattern I'm showing here, so to be determined if it'll stay in the book
More yarn for the stache (โ ย โ ๊โ แดโ ๊โ )
Update! Obv not done yet, but I wanted to get it on the mannequin to try to shape it before I block. I may need to take in a few stitches on the sides cause the middle's guage isn't matching the rest, but we'll see when I actually block it. I'm hoping to have it done by this weekend!
Bold of you to assume I learned my lesson about staying up on a work night so I can knit
in case folks are curious, here's the chart I'm referencing for the colorwork. The pattern I'm following is free! Here's the video version of the pattern, they have the link in the description of the video www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtof...
Ok finally got through my first skein of black (109 yd) all the yarn used so far is from the dollar tree. So currently I'm at $5 cost for this sweater. I'm guessing it'll come out to about $14 in total but we'll see
My Internet died so I'm going to take it as a sign to go to bed. 6 hours is good enough sleep for work right? Right ๐
3 hours later and I can't stop but I have work in like 7 hours hhhh
I know I know I have like 5 other WIPs but I finally figured out sweaters andLOOK ๐ญ
Current blanket process! Got 36 squares to go, the border and then sew it onto the back. I'm guessing I got another 18 hours of work since each square takes about 30 minutes. Almost there!
Okok finally got the shoulder off and did my first row. Going to do the second row on the mannequin to make sure I don't twist it. Then finally I can do the sleeves
Why are you like this. What yarn god did I displease- is this because the other side went perfect? It needs to be balanced? I hate it here.
Oh my God the other side isn't just frogging hhhhhhh
Successfully fixed the (our left) shoulder. I wanted to have this be a sew-less cardigan, so I was adding loops from the front and back panels. The (our right) shoulder is what happens when you add each row. So cast on with a part of the panels, knit normal, then the 3rd row do it again
Ok, finally settled on some designs I'm going to make patches with. Gonna buy a denim jacket and embroider a bunch of designs on it for my roommate. Going to be lots of eyes and CP77 vibes
Used up some yarn I wasn't using to make a harvestfull scarf. It's super soft, but I'm not sure if it's a good winter scarf. To be determined
Ok so I'm working on a square-checker cardigan, and I thought I could get away with the shoulders being half a square. I was incorrect. Thankfully I'm not too far into the sleeve and can just frog it and start the shoulders over again. This will be attempt #3 ๐ฎโ๐จ
I didn't do any knitting this weekend. I did, however, smooch Shadowheart.
