Joanne Bland passed away today. She was just was 11 when she marched in Selma on March 7, 1965, known today as "Bloody Sunday." Joanne led my students on a number of tours of Selma. I watched it yesterday. It was both uplifting AND heartbreaking to remember a time when I had so much more hope.

The fact that both are quite experienced—8 years and 12 years with CBP—is yet more evidence that CBP should be abolished and all of its agents fired. There's no way to "reform" or "retrain" that, it's just a violent gang with badges.

I really can't state this enough.

Federal agents have been teargassing parks and residential neighborhoods for weeks but didn't show up for a fight downtown today and look what didn't happen.

Wishing absolute worst wishes to our occupying forces. GTFO of Minnesota.
