What a blast we had yesterday at Winchester Books Festival – a full house a full heart. Big thanks to everyone who came, and it was lovely to meet so many of you at the signing afterwards. Thanks also to the wonderful festival team for having me. Onwards!

We’re now 4.5 months into my National #YearOfReading tour and it’s been a blast so far. And there’s plenty more still to come – I’ll be announcing new events as soon as I’m allowed. In the meantime, tickets for dates already revealed are available here: www.robbiddulph.com/events. See you out there.
This has been a long time in the making, yet as you can see from the real Ringo’s expression, he is entirely nonplussed by his very cute illustrated counterpart.

Following yesterday’s announcement about my new deal with HarperCollins, I thought you might like a sneaky peek at one of the projects in the works: a brand new board book series starring none other than MY DOG RINGO!!

Cheers, brother
Some nice news from me, as announced in The Bookseller yesterday. Huge thanks to Alice and my phenomenal team at Harper for their continued faith and support, and endless gratitude as always to my agent Jodie.
Onwards…
Thrilled to be appearing at the Nevill Holt in Leicestershire on Sunday 7 June – a beautiful setting for a fun event which will include my musical rendition of I Follow the Fox, the story behind The Last Wolf, and a live episode of #DrawWithRob. Tickets 👉https://tinyurl.com/57p3rypp

Book Club are running a challenge over Easter for the most ‘eggstreme’ reading photo. I’m not sure mine will win but this is my attempt.

This Saturday at 10am, I'll be uploading a brand new #DrawWithRob video in which we'll avo-go at drawing this very cute character. Grab your pencils, clear some space on the table, and get ready to smash it (on paper, not toast).
What a lovely card from my best friend Millie.

I took Poppy to see the exhibition today. I think she enjoyed being reunited with her #PackedLunchPostIt notes. She even added one of her own to the Visitor's Gallery.

##NationalYearOfReading #GoAllIn2026
This is cool – the new advert for the National Year of Reading 2026 (for which I'm an ambassador) has just landed! The message is: whatever you're into, get MORE into it by READING about it. So for me it's football – programmes on matchday, transfer rumours, Panini stickers – I can't get enough!

It was also lovely to see so many pals, including Axel Scheffler (drawing the Gruffalo Granny), Chris Smith, Sophy Henn and Louie Stowell (who I insisted on dragging over for a trophy photo too). Now, as they say in football… we go again.
PS: COYG ❤️
So close to the trophy we could almost touch it… 🏆
Here I am with fellow gooner @cressidacowellauthor at last night’s @literacy_trust Gala Dinner – always such a brilliant evening. What an honour to be in a room full of people all pulling in the same direction.
