I have edited the image to put a bamboo forest in the background. I am also holding the bamboo duct jet fan that I made. Fursuit Friday is a digital tradition that has emerged from the anthropomorphic fandom; furry fandom where people with fursuits phost pictures of themselves in character. It is not a requirement to have a fursuit to participate in the fandom and surveys that have taken place suggests that only ten percent of participants in the fandom have a fursuit. But it is the one thing that the public at large most associates with the fandom because of there visual impact. Also in social media for a variety of reasons it is not uncommon that participants of the fandom prefer not to share images of themselves or others that show there in real life selves. You may have noticed in pictures that I post online that I typically place emojis to censor out any any actual faces that happen to be in frame when photographing fursuiters. Fursuits are a descriptionary luxury purchase and the costs can vary wildly. Many dream of having a fursuit of there character or characters. Commisioning a fursuit from a fursuit maker will run into thousands of pounds. The materials are not cheap and often have to be imported. Plus the professional skill of the maker; equipment and the hundreds of hours it can easily run into to make a fursuit. The most popular fursuit makers often put there commission slots up for auction and basically it's people that specifically want a suit from that make; trying to get the slot between them bid up the price on themselves. Othere like myself have a go at making our own suit to try and make it affordable
