I've taken down the Ender Dragon over the weekend.
Took a while, cost two totems of undying and an actual death. I hadn't died in game for some while previously. The Endermen did most of the damage to me I think. 1/2

Well finally back to the pub quiz after a few weeks away for various reasons. I've left while Bob was still collecting other teams scores but I reckon 41½ was probably enough for the win! ☺️🎉🎊🍺🎟️

Eaten, but it's perhaps most commonly used by the Beano & Dandy kids comics so it jars somewhat in this context. Possibly the OP is from Dundee where the comics originate...

It felt a bit like brute forcing it when I "should" be able to dig down. Once I got down I was able to dig out a substantial flat cavern, it took a fair bit of time to find sufficient ancient debris & there were plenty of lava leaks from above. I suppose it's time to take on the Ender Dragon next...

So anyway, I've completed "Cover me in Debris" & "Serious Dedication" advancements. Getting down to level 17 in the Nether wasn't working. It seemed like there was a contiguous sea of Lava everywhere. In the end I used potions of fire resistance and swam to the bottom and built back up. #Minecraft

Had a lovely meal & stayed for the quiz. Should have had confidence in our 1st round answers as the last round was rubbish. Back in a couple of weeks. #PubQuiz

It wasn't actually settled as I went to catch a bus but looking good... #PubQuiz

Definitely played our 🃏 on the wrong round! We got 37 in the end, could have been 40 just by playing it on the right round. Don't think we were in the 🍺🎟️ this week. #PubQuiz

There was a moment of nerves when I got to the bus stop & it already said "due" but it swung into view a few seconds later.

Turns out others scored less than I thought & we won! 👍🏼🎟️🍺🥳
