Fine Gael must be on strike. Very few in the Dáil.

There are only 44 female TD’s in the Dáil. Each female Minister who stood up to speak during the confidence motion was heckled and shouted over during their speaking time by Independent Ireland. It is not acceptable.
There is more chance of me being reincarnated as a tea pot than there is of Danny Healy-Rae voting against the Government today!
Very unfair to wait until Sunday evening to tell Leaving Cert students this
Package to buy off sectoral interests sees little comfort for working people – @gednashtd.bsky.social
“Where is the targeted energy supports for working families? Where is the renewed mandate to work from home to help manage commuting costs?

Nothing for ordinary people.
This Government is so out of touch that it prioritised tax cuts for property developers and fast food multinationals over ANYTHING for ordinary people in the budget.
They could have avoided this getting this far if they had intervened earlier in the week.
Limerick tenants latest victims of Governments rental mess - @conorsheehan.bsky.social
“The Minister needs to go back to the drawing board now to prevent this contagion spreading.

Another mass evacuation, this time of 20 families from an apartment block on Lord Edward street in Limerick as a direct result of Government’s rental bill. We warned the Minister that this would, we tried to amend the legislation but they ignored us. A complete ban on no fault evictions is needed.
Families need real help against the enormous jump in the cost of living.
We're asking Government to:
👉 Extend the fuel allowance by four weeks
👉 Provide double social welfare payments
👉 Cap prices of home heating oil
👉 Introduced targeted energy targets

The consular assistance from the Department of Foreign Affairs in the Middle East has been absolutely superb. Our missions are not designed for mass evacuations but the way they have stood up has been brilliant. 🇮🇪
Total imported waffle!
The outrage over the Dublin zoo promo smacks of how mental social media has become, of you really should have more pressing things to be worried about as a TD and better a culture war than confront any of the real issues people face like housing, poverty, cost of living…
I have never seen the housing crisis so bad. A person with stage 3 cancer about to be evicted into a hostel. This is a rich country!

"On Sunday, new rental rules come into effect. We have been warned repeatedly that these changes will lead to higher rents and a return to economic evictions.
labour.ie/news/2026/02...
The new rental rules are so confusing that James Browne can’t even explain his own rental bill properly on Morning Ireland.
I remember multiple families being asked to deliver eulogies during the removal prayers in one local church years ago.
They should obviously be allowed but also time limited.
Minister can’t spin away soaring rent.
“Instead of freezing rents. Minister‘s Rent Hike Bill will cause rents to soar by at least 10%. Today’s Daft report is desperate, but it will pale into insignificance given what is to come.” @conorsheehan.bsky.social

Government ducks responsibility as homes hit €500,000.

Proud to back the €90 bn Ukraine support loan last week.
Solidarity with Ukrainian men, women and children has never been more important.
Disappointed, but not surprised, that Sinn Féin turned their back when it mattered most.

The removal of the passenger cap must result in additionality for Shannon and the Midwest. We need connectivity to another European hub.
I agree in principle and have an open mind on the ban. My concern is that we will do the ban and little will happen do deal with the actual problem.
Banning u16’s from social media is not the panacea some are making it out to be. Talking about it non-stop is a distraction and letting social media companies off the hook. They are making money off pushing harmful content at young people!
I spoke about the Government’s ridiculous proposal to criminalise cyclists who don’t wear helmets 🪖
The fact they even proposed this betrays their complete lack of understanding of what makes our roads unsafe for cyclists & pedestrians 🚗🚙 @labour.ie @dublincycling.bsky.social
