You are in the depths of an overgrowth, outside of the Library of Malphas. Thought to be a myth, this building is hidden by many illusions and non-euclidean forest paths in the now abandoned town of Arbourwood. You have come here after a cataclysmic event ten years ago has left half of the world in ruins; the “Third Pandora”, as it has been called. You seek answers about the nature of these paranormal happenings to protect yourself as darkness encroaches on once-safe locations, and this library at the center of one of the most cursed locations on Earth is said to house such answers. The ornate building is heavily overtaken by the elements, however seems to have stayed structurally intact despite presumed centuries of neglect. The plant life is still as if stuck in stasis, and the sound of wildlife is all but gone now. The sun struggles to shine through the leaves overhead, making the area dim and ominous. You walk up to the door and grasp the door handle, pushing the door open as a deafening creak sounds out...
