I’m not sure they even need a Centrist. They need someone that clearly strikes on people’s displeasure with the status quo. I’m quite certain Bernie would’ve won in 2016 if he got the nom and seeing his voters swing to Trump just shows it’s not ideological, they want someone to shake it up.

We are just saturated with misinformation, largely spread online. Fringe ideas are pulled to the forefront due to the way algorithms work. This sort of stuff is the outcome.

I do wanna note this has to be a minimum requirement for whoever chairs the DNC. Ground level organizing and modern media literacy & investment are musts. They have to build very long term, well beyond the next two elections.

I kinda agree with Jon here. I don’t think it’s even being more conservative, but I do think one way to fight the right wing media onslaught is getting in front of people, in person if possible, and talking. It’s not easy, but it humanizes the “other side” for many.

This state party needs a desperate overhaul. The tactics, the candidate recruitment, the waste of resources have put all of us that live here deep into the wilderness. Fix it or let new leaders take a crack at trying to turn it around.

How will be plan to get this message to voters? Many voters don’t watch Sunday Morning shows or even consume their news via legacy media. How do you plan to invest in modern media to get this message to voters?

Nothing like a contract that is worth more than the entire reported net worth of your team’s principal owner to put things into perspective.

That still isn’t an enshrined amendment. Also, think about where SCOTUS derives its authority. The Constitution. If they ruled to override a literal amendment, what gives them authority on that or any other ruling? There is plenty to be concerned about with Trump, let’s focus on reality.
