In Oversight today, my colleagues stuck to their usual script: blaming immigrants for all crime & claiming Dem mayors are too soft. Well, I was curious to know if they’ve ever had an immigrant with a criminal record that they could recall. Tune in!

Still no theatrical U.S. distribution, sadly...
It's just a shame that the otherwise so diligent "free-speech" advocates, suddenly prevent the speech from being widely accessible in comparison to other Oscar winners.

😫 Now I understand what it means to have a degree in writing… it is a skill and not everyone can and should write a book. Or at least get support in writing.

😖 From a literary perspective, I’d like to pick a feather with her editor. It was soooo hard to read, the writing style is really horrendous. The way it dragged on was insufferable.

✔️ I didn’t mind the name-dropping as much, she is a very successful businesswoman after all. And it was also refreshing to read about her learnings.

✅ There are some really good parts and concepts (Ch. 2: 4-matrix system and how to practice radical candor, Ch. 3: rock stars vs. superstars, the get things done concept - first introduced in Ch. 4, then elaborated in Ch. 8)

💼 If I were in a position to decide how leadership is run in “my” business, this would be my bible on how to successfully lead teams to bring their best selves to work. What I see currently is… often politics gets in the way of businesses being run effectively.

For us believers… these are the best times to #DoubleDown on #DEI, #WomensHealth, #WomenLed, #POCLed, #LGBTQLed Businesses and Initiatives. 📈🌈

Don’t take my advice… I’m no finance expert, so what do I know about investing? 🤭🤑

Dorothy B. Porter changed libraries 💜

The Dewey Decimal System used to only have two classifications for Black people: 325 (colonization) & 326 (slavery). Each book by a Black person was put into one of these classifications. A book of poetry? Classified as colonization.
