Why do I have 5 different ways to jot down to-do lists at work, all have similar yet diff things on them and I’m still craving another way to organize the same to-do list…

And then I think about Kupocon that gives you a FREE table (with a 3 day pass purchase) for a venue that is the same size as NoReset with more foot traffic and visibility and I obviously did very well there. Idk just feels off.

Tbh I got blamed for a lot of this back at Apex 2014. Cause the room for artists was out of the way, I didn’t know any better back then too. But I didn’t charge much for the table space and gave a 3 day pass with the event itself.

In general tho I’m rethinking even doing AA at this event again. I feel strongly that it was a waste for how much money they asked for the table plus how we were shoved in a “closet” (and no access to the event itself unless you paid separate). Some other vibe issues too tbh but I’ll rethink.

But the run/race went well and fun despite our race getting pushed back an hour+ because they decided to push for a concert encore and everything was kinda behind already. Didn’t get home until way past my bedtime lol.

Didn’t get to finish my thoughts but a lot of it was not really my fault. I just kinda got shafted with how they ran things. Still it’s good to rethink some things anyway.

Unfortunate weekend for sales. Expected a little better based off of Fridays sales but tanked really hard. Event had a lot of issues. But have to also just rethink some things about my presentation.

It’s funny cause I didn’t realize it’s been 8 years since it’s been around. There are people who have tried (mainly SBD and a couple cv1 runners) it’s mostly just dead. I’ve even had sessions with people and offered to teach them. It’s always like “whoever runs the wiki should add this info”.

It’s def not your fault JD. It’s a larger problem. Ppl just feel comfy with info dumping on discord. Most active runners don’t care or want to learn how to use it. I’ve heard of some runners laughing off the wiki. Just bums me out cause it can such a powerful tool.

But really it’s my fault for not offloading this thing and committing to miraheze where it could just be buried for good cause no one’s gonna update it anyway.

At least the donkey comm actually still maintains it and keeps it somewhat active. They care for it like it’s their own regardless of how many years it’s been.

People would rather just keep everything buried on discord cause you know discord is an amazing place for info to be on… anyway I just need to cool off. But I hate getting frustrated by this.

There’s maybe a few people that ultimately appreciate it. But 90% of them do not. I don’t care so much that I pay for it and have been for years but the lack of interest of care really bothers me. It’s an invaluable space to have.

In all my years in speedrunning I’ve never been in a community so completely ungrateful to have someone build them a wiki than the CV comm. I’m so over it. I keep flip flopping on nuking the whole thing but every now and again I’m reminded that no one truly cares it’s even there.

I legit just wanna sit at a cafe and design my pages with my 9 billion supplies. Tbh it’s gonna help with my creativity rut I think. I’ve been lacking hard lately.

The upside to this is that I’m actually using my good notebooks now lol I was too afraid to use them before.

I’m finally losing myself to journaling and stationary supplies (more than I used to). It’s so over…

Forgot to post but I finished Majoras Mask on Friday (all masks/hearts). Hadn’t played this one since I was a teen. I had this opinion then and I still have it now that I love this one much more than OoT. What a fantastic game that gets better with each dungeon.
