Going at my own pace

I got tired of this perfectionism outlook on art and returned to the basics. I am capable of "skilled" digital art but I prefer paper, crayons, stickers.

I hope if anything my crayon art reminds people that you don't need a fancy tablet or program to create meaningful art that sticks with people

PREACH. Let people have an awkward stage, we all went through it! I stopped caring about my art being, “perfect” and trying to appease others. If it makes me happy, it did its job. Your art really inspires me to start drawing with crayon again.

The crayon art I draw was partially out of spite for the modern idea that "art" is hyperealistic perfection with no flaws. I feel like this idea is what partially pushes AI; nobody wants to start out with flawed, rudimentary art out of fear.

But art isn't meant to be perfect, polished, artificial.
