I went to a party for someone who turned 30 today. They told someone else that 'age is just a number'. I stayed quiet. I appreciate they invited me
My mom worked at the post office and told me to write out addresses and dont worry if they are perfect. If its too hard to read, a person figures that out and thats a job. Its a culture shift that caring about jobs programs seems to not be a thing anymore. That may change though...
The best part of the new Mario movie at the peak climax scene, the kid in front of me started rocking out reclining his chair back and forth and he just kept going for like a minute. He was having the time of his life. Bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt bzzzt. Movie was ok, couple very creative scenes.
I had the option to be laid off. I had that choice. I didnt take it. I wonder if I sbould have. Thats a fucked up option. It was a better benefit at 20 yrs and I had 19. Wtf.
In other words, its not the optimum solution, but failure is successfully a solution.
In an optimization problem, you need to tell the solver to find the optimum solution. The path of least resistance is to just fail. I think about that sometimes.
The person in front of me at the grocery store complained about a sale and how can it not be on zero sugar item and I dont like your attitude and im getting your manager... I failed to not be that person that told them they were a jerk .. its wierd being in the moment.
You are spottydog 2026. Whatever happened in 2008 doesnt matter.
Why cant i decide which is first?
I dont know what inversion is.
I love this so much. I hope you get it!
Do you have a budget bill so its averages summer and winter together? We pay about $500 but our usage is 2x to 3x that example.
Im coming up on 20 years at this company and this is the worst managed project I've ever been on. I'm getting fed up with being asked if I heard I should he doing something from meetings I'm not a part of.
I have a project at work.. theres too many facilitators. 4 sponsors, I'm one of 4 leads. The facilitators are addicted to AI and keep presenting action items to the sponsors... for things I should be doing... but they dont tell me because they aren't leading the project they're just gobbling AI.
Re-injured my back this weekend and in a lot of pain BUT wanted to draw a tender moment tonight. King George was great.
P.S. Pixar feel free to hire me at anytime to draw beavers for yah! 💗
Take care of yourselves, always remember to love yourself and don't forget to breath. #hoppers #doodle #art
Hoppers is a really good movie. Now I just need to hope it does well enough for some background characters to get some merch...
That would be a more than fireable offense on the boss in my world which is a few levels up the supply chain from the grocery. We care about food safety very seriously.
True hell is LinkedIn + Dead Internet Theory... which it seems to be now. AI posts about work with people replying with AI.
If you convert it to exercise, 10k calories is like 24 hours of walking. I would walk an hour a day to give up my job.
Unless you are buying food from a local producer, that packaged good you are buying was manufactured about 2-3 months ago. It's got a long shelf life, it's not a problem. There's warehouses, safety stock, forecasting, redeployment, it's complicated... I guess this is why I have a job.
There's a reddit thread right now -- you get paid $1 per M&M you eat, but 1 M&M somewhere in the world will kill you. if someone eats the one, a random currently existing M&M will become the one that kills you. Some brilliant mathematicians are tackling this that think the factory ships to stores.
My entire adult life
The first Furcon was in 1989 and before that there were furry parties at other conventions. Here is a furry party posters from the 80s:
Ive had this remote for a decade. The top row is all that matters. The 2nd row is party time. Building a program and saving it is beyond me.
I wrote a letter to James Howe in elementary school and I got back a very nice form letter written as the dog replying. It had a really nice embossing of the dog leaning over a writing desk at the top.
In grade school I had to go to speech therapy. They take you out of a class and you basically do flash cards instead. It just occurred to me that maybe there is some basic thing I missed out on. I missed something to learn how to pronounce R's or something.
I bought a game and thought it would be nice to have a little organizer insert for the pieces... so I googled it, found a link and printed them directly from my phone to my bambu. Why do ink printers still suck *so much* when I can print game inserts without even using a PC?
They're giving everyone flowers, thats cute.
